TDP senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy today said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was trying to put the State back on the track.
Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan office here, Somireddy said the State was facing several problems. Chandrababu Naidu was making efforts to include Visakhapatnam city as one of the smart cities to be developed by Modi government and Chandrababu also played a major role in the Polavaram project.
Is it not Chandrababu Naidu, who successfully brought Honda company to invest in the State, Somireddy questioned and ridiculed YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy to be unhappy because there was no power holiday in the State. The YSRCP leaders and workers are in confusion over existence of their party, the TDP leader said. The allegations of Jaganmohan Reddy are “meaningless” and his proposed dharna will be ridiculous, he said. He also alleged that thousands of crores of rupees worth red sanders were smuggled during the Congress rule and it was during YSR regime that sand mafia raised its ugly head. (NSS)
