Somireddy Ridicules Jagan Demand for CBI Probe

TDP senior leader Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy today ridiculed the  demand of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to hand over Tuni violence incident for  CBI inquiry.

Addressing a press conference, Somireddy contended that  no railway property was damaged during Independence or united state agitation days. But Tuni railway station was torched and damaged which was an act of violence and not an incident of agitation.

Ridiculing the demand of Jagan, Somireddy said this is not a quid pro case nor a money laundering case. It was an incident of violence. The perpetrators should have been arrested immediately after the incident, but police after a thorough inquiry,  has initiated action, he said.

The students who organized rail roko programme during united state agitation were booked and still they are attending the courts. The act of Mudragadda is not part of an agitation, it was purely a violence and that is reason the former is threatening to consume pesticide when police went to his house, the TDP leader alleged.
