New Delhi, Jun 06: The mercury remained below normal level, giving some relief to Delhiites from scorching heat on a Sunday today as they tried to capitalise on the slightly better weather by venturing out.
Though the maximum rose by 1.6 degree Celsius from yesterday to touch 38.2 degree Celsius, it was three degrees below normal level for this time of the year. Similarly, the minimum was at 25.4 degree Celsius, owing to overnight rains.
However, there was dust storm in some parts of the capital in the afternoon. A dust haze had been enveloping the city for the last couple of days.
For the past few days the maximum temperature had been hovering over 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity oscillated between 67 per cent and 25 per cent.
