“The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is utilising fictive-propaganda as an effective tool to mislead the people and projecting itself as the only savior of the country which is otherwise,” expressed MLA MK Somashekhar. He was addressing the pressmen here today.
“I happened to meet a Gujarati today”, Somashekhar said, “and when I asked him about the ‘much-hyped’ developments in Gujarat, I was shocked to learn that there is no proper drinking water facility”.
“What Narendra Modi claims of development in his state is nothing but fictitious tales screened to public in order to delude them,” he alleged. Modi has not done anything in Gujarat, he added.
He displayed his confidence over cracking at least 20-22 seats in the Lok Sabha elections due on April 17.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Vasu brushed aside the claims of BJP of changing the country in five years. “It is often been a part of BJP’s campaign that what ‘Congress has not done in 60 years, we will do in five years’. These are pseudo claims by the BJP. Being brought back to power is adequate to prove that the Congress party’s commitment to the people and its role in the country’s development,” says Vasu.
“NDA was in power both in central and the state. And everyone knows what exactly happened in their tenure,” he added.
Explaining “BJP’s campaigning policy” Vasu said that “If falsehood is said 100 times, people take it as truth. BJP believes this and has been practicing the same,” he alleged.
