Soldier died in land mine explosion while patrolling in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: A soldier who was patrolling died in a land mine explosion in Jazan district according to the Saudi Interior Ministry. The cause is yet to known.

Vice Sergeant Mohammed Shami Ali Haddadi was on the Saudi Border near Jazan, was killed while he was patrolling the area on Tuesday morning said security spokesman Maj. Gen. Mansour Al-Turki.

The Saudi Royal Corporation of Engineers along with border guards are investigating the cause of the explosion, arabnews reported.
