Mr. M.Sahu, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Incharge of Energy will inaugurate solar energy exhibition at 10:30 a.m. today at Peoples Plaza, Necklace Road in which more than 20 companies are participating. They will exhibit Solar Energy installations on the roofs. Other articles relating to solar energy will also be presented for exhibition and sale. Mr. Sahu told this in a Press Conference held yesterday. He told that solar energy unit could be a better substitute for the consumers using 3 phase electric current. It will save expenses. Central Govt. provides subsidy to the consumers.
Mr. Syed Ali Murtuza Rizv, MD. Of APCPDCL told that it will be a good substitute for the consumers who use additional electricity. It only requires 10 sq. meter or 100 sq. ft. on the roof for the installation of Solar Energy unit.
