Software testers call for new techniques

Pune (Maharashtra) [India]: The Pune Software Testing Conference (PSTC) concluded in Pune yesterday with a clamour for transformation of testing techniques.

The common refrain was that with digitization taking over business, the testing techniques must undergo transformation.

The conference was so organised into four thematic sessions – Models and Methods, Business Change and Digital, Tools and Technology, People and Skills – as to bring this aloud for the testing fraternity.

Among the international speakers sharing their views and directions on all these topics was Wolfgang Platz, Founder and CPO, Tricentis.

Rakesh Samal, Vrushali S and Chiranjib B from Tata Consultancy Services and Kavita Kulkarni from Infosys, were among those who stole the show.

The conference was preceded by TestAutothon, first of a kind, only to be followed by two days of inspiring sessions.

The conference was brain child of SteP-IN a community that claims to be among the biggest in Asia.

The event drew cross section of the testing community.

Apart from the presentations, this event stood out for three unique themes – The Kaleidoscope, Table Topics and Brain Boosters. (ANI)
