Software engineer held for taking loans on forged documents

Hyderabad: The Task Force sleuths today arrested a software engineer N. Vijay Bhaskar, who purchased a TV, fridge, washing machine, AC and so on by taking loans from “Capital First Limited” by submitting fabricated Pan cards, Aadhaar Cards, Bank Statements and Payslips.

The police seized one computer system — Monitor, CPU, keyboard and mouse, cash of Rs 73,000 and forged Xerox copies of Pan card, Aadhaar Card, Bank Pay slips from his possession.

Police said accused Vijay Bhaskar, 37, a native of Narsipatnam in Visakhapatnam was working as HR in Technicode Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Madhapur and residing at PVR Enclave, Road No. 5, Balaji Nagar, Nizampet. He came to Hyderabad in 2008 and joined 108-GVK EMRI. In the year 2012, he started app developing business in the name of Sun Geo Technologies, Road No.10, Jubilee Hills and incurred losses till 2013 and closed his office.

Police said the accused while doing business in the name of “Softboot Technologies” at Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, he used to give fake job experience letters to the needy by taking huge amounts from them. To issue fake job experience letters, he used to take Xerox copies of ID proofs, Address proofs i.e. Aadhar Cards, Pan cards, Driving Licenses and bank account details. After collecting the documents, the accused used to give fake job experience letters to them by changing photos.

The accused put his photo in place of photo existed in the documents. By using the fake address proofs, the accused used to apply for a loan from “Capital First” and purchasing electronic items i.e. TV, Fridge, Washing Machine, A.C. from different showrooms in Hyderabad. After purchasing of electronic items, the accused used to sell the same to needy persons by using OLX and earned money illegally.

So far, the accused obtained seven loans from Capital First by using fabricated Pan cards, Aadhaar Cards, Bank Statements & Pay slips and purchased Washing Machines-2, ACs-4 and Refrigerator-1 and the same were sold by using OLX and also to known persons on lowest price and earned easy money. The accused along with seized materials was handed over to the SHO, Panjagutta for further action.
