Software Engineer commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 17: A software engineer from Bangalore ended his life allegedly after consuming some poisonous substance at the premises of a famous temple
in Kachiguda on Wednesday, police said.

Gondkar Pradeep (26), working for IBM in Bangalore had flown into city at about 07.15 am today and went to Sri Shyam Mandir in Kachiguda here and after offering prayers suddenly collapsed inside the temple premises, Kachiguda police said.

A suicide note purportedly written by Pradeep which was forwarded through email to one of his relative’s here at about 09.35 am stated that nobody was responsible for his death.

“No one has influenced me to do this, I am fed up with my life and just eager to see what lies behind the curtain of death. I am not a coward, it’s my decision to end my life in the way I have decided,” the note said.

Asking his parents to apologise him for not meeting their expectations, Pradeep said in the mail, “Please forgive me, I was not able to finish all my responsibilities.”

Pradeep’s relative Santosh who checked his mail was about to alert the police, when another relative called him and informed about the incident, who in turn was informed by police, who found their phone number besides Pradeep’s body.

A autopsy was conducted on Pradeep’s body and it was later handed over to his relative, police said. Kachiguda police have booked a case and are investigating.
