Hyderabad, November 10: Waqf board employees did not have the slightest idea that the soft-spoken taciturn Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani would take strict measures to maintain discipline.
This is the reason that soon after the election of Mr. Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani as chairman; employees were trying to evade their responsibility in the wake of commencement of Hajj camp. The Waqf board chairman was daily arriving at the office after taking charge but kept silent due to hustle and bustle of the Hajj camp as some employees were busy in Hajj arrangements.
The employees did not change their routine even after the Hajj camp concluded and kept on arriving late to office. Yesterday when chairman Waqf board unexpectedly came to office in the morning he was surprised to see that most of the chairs remained unoccupied even after 10:30.
He waited for a while then asking for the attendance register put absent mark for those who failed to arrive office even after an hour. The late comers gave various excuses for the delay but he didn’t pay heed to any of them.
