Social Army for Telangana formed

(Siasat News) Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal has launched membership programme for enrolling one lakh members for Social Army for Telangana (SAT). For this purpose students and youths will be selected. They would be given training by retired Army officials. The purpose of formation of Social Army is to join them for the Telangana struggle.

Mr. K. Dilip Kumar, MLC told that if separate Telagana state is not formed, they will not hesitate to wage a war. In the events of formation of separate Telangana state, these army men will perform social service. Enrollment of members started at the office Rastriya Lok Dal. Retired army captain Pandu Rangareddy and retired IPS officer, Captain Srinivasulu offered guidance to students and youths to attended the function. Mr. Mohammed Riyaz, acting President of Rastriya Lok Dal, Ms. Indira Dilip Kumar, Secretary, Mr. C. Seeshagiri Rao highlighted the aims and objectives of the formation of Social Army. Expressing his views Captain Pandu Rangareddy told that the central Govt. lead by UPA is delaying the formation of separate Telangana state. The decision to form separate Telangana state was announced 2 months back but no action has so far been initiated in this direction. He demanded the Central Govt. to accelerate the action for the formation of separate Telangana state.
