New Delhi, June 05: The World Cup is just around the corner and fans looking for information on their favourite teams and players can turn to ‘Soccer Diary’, a book published by the Delhi Veteran Football Club.
The book profiles players, teams and coaches and also throws light on the history of the World Cup and the winners so far.
The editor and compiler of the book Hem Chand said, “Our only aim is to help the soccer lovers follow the world cup in a better manner. All the necessary information on the World Cup is there in the book.”
Mr. Hem Chand, who is also the secretary general of the Veteran Club and vice-president of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA), claims to have been bringing out books on football for many years.
The World Cup kicks off on June 11.
