New Delhi, March 22: The number eight appeared to be his nemesis. 30-year-old Manish, an alleged snatcher who has eight girl friends and eight criminal cases against him, was arrested at around 8 pm in Outer Delhi yesterday.
“He has been found to be involved in at least eight criminal cases registered against him at various police stations. He admittedly has eight girlfriends whom he sought to impress with the money he got from his criminal activities.
With his arrest, eight cases of snatching have been worked out,” a senior police official said today.
Police received a tip off that he is near Jaipur Golden Hospital in Rohini’s sector three. “We reached the spot and found that he was inside the hospital. We apprehended him immediately after he stepped out of the said hospital at 8 pm,” the official said.
