Sirsi (Ktk), July 30: Cobra venom, valued at about Rs one crore in the international market, was seized and two persons were arrested in this connection, police said here today.
Prashant Srikant Shetty (27) of Marathikoppa of Sirsi and Irfan Ahmed Mahammad Iliyas (24) of Soraba were arrested yesterday for illegal transport and marketing of the venom, they said, adding one litre of cobra venom was seized from them.
