There is a beautiful mosque in Mujahidpur village of Pargi Mandal. It has been constructed in the middle of the tank. It is a marvel of architectural beauty. Smugglers are trying to take out its black stones which are valued at crores of rupees in the international market.
Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al Hajri informed about this and said that this mosque is situated in Mujahidpur, Kalakacherla Mandal of Pargi which is 90 Km from Hyderabad City. It is said that 500 years back Qutub Shahi kings had constructed this mosque first and later they constructed a tank. The local residents told that Wakf Board should take permission from the Department of Archeology and make it a tourist spot. There is a hope that Mr. Jalaaluddin Akbar will take necessary steps to save this mosque.
