NEW DELHI: Following the brutal killing of the 25 CRPF soldiers in Chhattisgarh and three soldiers in J & K on Thursday, PM Modi led BJP government have come under plenty of criticism.
The death of Indian soldiers during Modi led BJP government prompted widespread condemnation.
Also old speeches of the BJP leaders’ speeches targeting the then Congress-led UPA government under similar circumstances emerged.
On such speech was given by the Union Textiles Minister, Smriti Irani, in 2013 offering to send bangles to the then PM Manmohan Singh also surfaced.
According to Janta Ka Reporter, a former athlete, Ajeet Verma from Lucknow has taken a dig Irani and ‘sent’ a cheque of Rs 1,000 asking her to buy bangles with that money for PM Modi. (Read the letter below)
An international athlete and silver mealiest in Asian and founder/president NGO Sparsh Sports Development Foundation, says Verma.
The below speech was given by Irani’s speech in 2013 (watch below) in response to similar killings of the CRPF soldiers.
In a style, Irani had said, “I feel like sending bangles to the Centre’s Congress government. I want to ask them to wear these bangles. That’s because when 10 boys from Pakistan come and attack our territory, then not only the Congress is a mute spectator but the party was also pleading before Pakistan.”

On Thursday, Modi was trolled on Twitter for showing much more grief on the death of veteran actor and the BJP MP Vinod Khanna than to a soldiers martyrdom.
Will always remember Vinod Khanna as a popular actor, dedicated leader & a wonderful human. Pained by his demise. My condolences.
