The sleuths of Madhapur Police have busted a notorious gang indulged in an international racket in the skimming and cloning of Credit and Debit cards, by arresting five persons and recovered electronic equipments, case Rs 5 lakhs and two cars from their possition. Polavaram Kamal Kumar (28) of Madhapur, Ammar Ali (31) of Bihar, Zameer Shaik of Mumbai, Ajay Lal Mathur (22) of Delhi and Sha Jamal (30) of Bihar State were involved the crime, a police release here said.
The release said tt was interesting that they were running a special lab at Motinagar here for skimming and cloning of debit and credit cards as a Small Scale Industry Unit. Kamal Kumar was the Kingpin of the Gang. Initially, he floated a software company Sectrix Solutions at Punjagutta and it did not run well. Later he became a member of the website CARDERS.SU which was famous for Black Hackers of the Internet world society and developed fair knowledge in the field of skimming and cloning of all types of Debit and Credit Cards.
The other members of the gang became close associates of Kamal through the above website during the last five years. They confessed to have taken the guidance of Kronik of Canada regarding the collection of data of cardholders, Skimming and Cloning process and obtained the required material– POS Skimmers, Data Cables from him. The gang started a Project named as Make-A-Deal- Every Deal is a Steal by offering free mobile recharge for Rs 250 instantly by accepting Rs 50 through debit card only.
