CM of AP Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy told that Rs. 777 crore have been allocated in state budget to provide skills training in various professions to 5 lakh unemployed youths this year. After imparting skills training, jobs will be provided to them. CM told this while addressing the 64th Annual Award Function of Federation of AP Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Federation Bhavan at Red Hills yesterday.
He assured the industrialists that Govt. will overcome electricity crisis very soon. He told the office bearers of the Federation that Govt. is including them in many of its developmental programmes. As far as long term solution is concerned the stand taken by the Govt. is clear. He told that the Govt. needs a short term solution for it at present.
He pointed out that due to restrictions of power grid, the state is facing problems in purchasing electricity. He told that power Grid Corporation of India has assured to formulate new power grid corridors which will help the state get more power. He said that there are indications of good rain in a few weeks from now. AP is getting rains but for production of electricity, good rainfall in Maharashtra and Karnataka is essential CM distributed excellence awards to 19 industries.
