The skeleton of a man who went missing last year has been found in a nala near Rajendra Nagar. It must be recalled that Mohammed Abdur Raheem alias Iqbal (52), resident of Sadat Nagar (Shaheen Nagar) was missing since august 31, 2012. His family members claimed that financers had kidnapped him. His wife Mrs. Raheemunnisa, two sons Abdul Ghafoor, Abdul Qader and two daughters Meherunnisa and Kausar Jahan had a hope that Iqbal will return home safely but they were shocked to receive his skeleton. They were told that Iqbal was plunged into a nala near Rajendra nagar Pillar no 117 Attapur after he was killed. Grief and shock engulfed Iqbal’s family on the discovery of his skeleton.
It must be recalled that Siasat had published a detailed report on September 9, 2012 regarding the kidnap of the man by the financers.
Iqbal’s elder brothers Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hameed retd. Deputy Director Animal Husbandry and Mohammed Abdul Nayeem told that on May 30, S Lakshman Sub inspector Rajendra nagar police called them on phone and told that the police has discovered the whereabouts of missing brother’s but he is no more alive, we only have some bones of his body. Iqbal brothers alleged suspicious role of Rajendranagar police in the incident. As the family members had notified the police about the suspects, immediately after Iqbal was kidnapped. But police released the suspects Ramesh, Pandu Ranga Reddy and Sri Ram financers after simple interrogations. Had the police taken strict action, the family would not have to face this trauma.
The family told that after working aboard for several years Iqbal collected 3 lakhs rupees and purchased a lorry by borrowing the additional money from the financer.
Ramesh and Pandu Ranga Reddy introduced Abdur Raheem with Sriram financers. One month before the kidnap Abdur Raheem’s lorry was gutted. Now the question arises where has the insurance money gone? Did the murderers also take possession of the amount also? Commissioner Cyberabad should order probe into the matter and unveil the nexus between police Rajendranagar and the suspects.
