Hyderabad, March 25: The members of Progressive Democratic Front staged a walkout in the Legislative Council on Thursday when the Chairman A.Chakrapani turned down their adjournment notice for a discussion on the eighth chapter of Justice Srikrishna Committee’s report.
Chukka Ramaiah, Paturu Sudhakar Reddy, Dileep Kumar and K. Nageshwar demanded a discussion in view of High Court’s judgement on a petition seeking to make the eighth chapter of the report public.
s Mr. Ramaiah said that the observations of the committee belittled the four crore people in the region.
As the Chairman Mr. Chakrapani rejected their demand for a discussion, the members staged a walk out.
