Sk Mohammed Iqbal IPS appointed as Special Officer of Wakf Board

Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, Commissioner of Minorities Welfare was appointed as Special Officer of the A.P. State Wakf Board with immediate effect.

Government re-constituted A.P. State Wakf Board in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (9) of the Section (14) and Section (15) of the Wakf Act 1995 (Central Act No. 43 of 1995) for a period of 5 years from the date of issue of the orders. The term of the Office of the Members of the A.P. State Wakf Board expired on 15th December, 2013.

Government after careful examination hereby appoint Sri Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS., Commissioner, Minorities Welfare, as Special Officer (FAC) of the A.P.State Wakf Board with immediate effect for a period of six months or till the Board is reconstituted, whichever is earlier, under the provisions of the Wakf Act(Central Act 43 of 1995).

Sri Shaik Mohammad Iqbal,IPS, Commissioner, Minorities Welfare as the Special Officer, Shall exercise and perform during the above, period, all the powers and duties, which may, by or under the provisions of the Wakf Act, be exercised or performed by or on behalf of the said Wakf Board.
