New Delhi, Aug 31 : Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan can be given the tag of ‘The Perfect Showstopper’ after she sizzled the ramp for Gaurav Gupta ‘s collection on the finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 in Mumbai.
The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star stunned the audience with her black flowing sheer gown which was part of Gaurav’s signature drapes and structure line.
Whilst talking about her attire and walking the ramp for finale, the 34-year-old actress said, “While doing couple of interviews earlier, I had said that I don’t know why I have a feeling it is going to be the best Lakme Grand finale that I have ever done and I think it surely was.”
“I don’t think I have looked better in the last 5-6 years that I walked the ramp than what Gaurav has done. It compliments me and it’s perfect.”
This was the first time when the ace designer and the 34-year-old actress collaborated for a fashion show.
Dune-like textures featured in the garments through boning and silver rivulets and large ruffles swayed through the drapes. The fabrics used were mostly neoprene, tulle, silks and georgettes in colours like gray, black, ivory and red.
Bollywood stars namely Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prateik Babbar, Shriya Saran and Zayed Khan were among the front rowers at the event. (ANI)
