Excise officials have seized 60 kilos of silver from a person travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad on Tuesday, at Raikal Toll Plaza in Mahabubnagar district. The police have taken up checking, suspecting that illegal liquor could be imported from other states to Telangana state. In the process, the police detained a person, who was shifting 60 kilos of silver without having any required documents. The officials have said that they will store the silver they seized at commercial taxes department. (NSS)
