Mathura: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in the Navneet Nagar colony here, the police said today.
“The accused lured the girl by offering her money to buy toffees following which he took her to an isolated area and raped her yesterday,” Dy SP Rakesh Vashistha said.
After the crime, the accused dropped the girl near her house and fled, he said.
“Medical examination of the girl confirmed rape,” he said.
