Six Seemandhra MPs denyed passes for attending AICC session

The Congress High Command by denying passes to six Seemandhra MPs for attending the AICC session has sent a firm warning to state congress leaders defying the party diktat and crossing the Laxmana rekha on the issue Telangana state formation.

In a calculated move the six MPs hailing from Seemandhra regon — Lagadapati Rajagopal, Vundavalli Arun Kumar, Sabbam Hari, Harsha Kumar, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao and Sai Pratap, were not given passes for attending the crucial AICC session to be held on January 17. All the six MPs were those who had moved a no trust motion against the UPA Government in the Lok Sabha recently protesting against the move to bifurcate the state for the formation of a separate Telangana state.

The AICC leadership seem to have taken this drastic action in bid to to a send clear warning to those defying the party diktat but also to thrawt any attempt by the Seemandhra Congress leaders to raise the issue of bifurcation in tomorrow’s session. As a matter of fact many party leaders from Seemandhra have planned to once again express their strong protest against b bifurcation of the state and the need for keeping state united. (NSS)
