Hyderabad: Film producer Bangla Ganesh, who made hit films like “Gabbar Singh” and “Temper” was awarded six months’ imprisonment by the Criminal Court at Erra Manzil in a cheque bounce case.
Film writer for “Temper” Vakkantam Vamsee lodged a criminal complaint against Bandla Ganesh in connection with the bouncing of a cheque worth Rs 25 lakh issued by Ganesh. The court, which heard both the sides, delivered judgment on Friday holding Ganesh guilty and sentenced him to undergo six months imprisonment and pay a fine of Rs 15,88,550 on him. (NSS)
