Hyderabad: In connection with the murder mystery of TRS leader and educationist Vallabhaneni Srinivasa Rao, the police detained six suspects and another culprit one Sajid was at large. The police said the accused confessed to killing Srinivasa Rao under inebriated condition due to old rivalry.
It may be recalled that unidentified persons killed Srinivasa Rao near Sanath Nagar Bus Stop on the night of November 16 with granite stones. Police said Srinivasa Rao had differences with local TRS leaders for some time. After registering murder case, police suspected that local persons might have only killed Srinivasa Rao and arrested the culprits. (NSS)
