Six held in fraudulent three-cards game in city

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills Police on Friday nabbed six persons, who were playing three-cards game in a house at Sri Krishna Nagar, Yousufugda.

The accused were identified as Naga Praveen Kumar Vusa, 31, Madikonda Anjaiah alias Ajay, 27, a student of Sri Krishna Nagar, Gudoru Shiva Narsimha Raju, 34, a Businessman of Madhura Nagar, Syed Yousuf, 25, chicken shop worker of First Lancer, Bhola Nagar, Banjara Hills, Shaik Afzal, 34, car driver of Jawahar Nagar, Yousufguda and Bashetty Anil Kumar, 30, of Borabanda. The police also seized cash of Rs 63,000, five mobile phones, 106 playing cards.

The prime accused Naga Praveen Kumar Vusa, purchased playing cards and a mobile phone from New Delhi which can scan the playing cards and predict that which place of player wins the game.

In this way, A1 cheated the other players by playing the three cards game and was earning money fraudulently. On knowing the winner before cards distribution, the A1 distributes the cards so as to win the game. He also induced his friends A2 to A6 in the fraudulent game. (NSS)
