Hyderabad, May 20: Six persons, including two historysheeters involved in an attack on the family of their rivals were nabbed on Thursday by Task Force sleuths.
Two daggers and a sword were seized from them.
The arrested include, A Yadagiri alias Lalla and V Giri, against whom historysheets are open at the Tukaram Gate police station.
The duo were involved in several criminal cases including murder, attempt to murder, robbery and extortions.
The other accused, A Kumar, A Narasimha, B Swamy and G Shiva Kumar, are associates of the duo.
According to police, Yadagiri and his associates went to a roadside eatery run by Pratap on May 15, where a quarrel broke out and Yadagiri was manhandled by Pratap’s sons.
On pretext of striking a compromise, Yadagiri asked Pratap to come near Muthyalamma temple.
When Pratap and his relatives reached there, Yadagiri and the others attacked them with daggers, crowbars and hammers leading to injuries to two.
Task Force sleuths nabbed the six and handed them to Tukaram Gate police.
