Thiruvananthapuram: In a tragic incident, 6 members of a family were killed and one other injured after their car rammed into a roadside tree in Kasargod, Kerala. The incident took place in Bekala Pallikere on Monday evening, June 13. The family was travelling to Kasargod from Chetukundu to take part in a Iftar programme.
The deceased have been identified as Sakheena (39), wife of Hameed from Uduma Chetuvindu, their children Sajeer (18), Sanir (16), Sakheena’s brother’s wife Khairunnisa (24), her daughter Fathima (2) and Ramseena (25). Ajmal (4) son of Sakheena sustained injuries in the incident. Sajir was driving the car. While Sajir and Khairunnisa died on the spot other four persons breathed their last in the hospital. A case has been filed at Bekala police station.
