Six from Delhi killed in road mishap

Ambala, June 02: Six members of three Delhi-based families on way to Dharmshala for a vacation were killed and six others injured when a mini bus they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck near here early today.

The families of Gulshan Arora, Harminder Singh Sachdeva and Kamal were on the way to Dharmshala when they met with the accident in which four adults and two children were killed.

The deceased have been identified as Gulshan Arora (35), his son Parth (10), Harminder Singh Sachdeva (35), his wife Kusum (32), Karan (13) and the driver of the bus Sonu, a senior police official said.

Six others were injured in the incident. The condition of condition of three — Sachdeva’s son Ridham, Kamal and his daughter Priyanka — is stated to be serious.

The injured have been admitted to a civil hospital here.
