Madurai, January 10: A six-day-old baby boy was found thrown among bushes at a funeral ground in Theni district, police said today.
The baby was noticed by local people after they heard his cries from bushes near the funeral ground yesterday. They immediately called an ambulance and took him to a government hospital at Theni, 60 kms from here.
Officials said the child was born at the same government hospital on January three, adding, efforts were on to find the mother of the baby.
