Hyderabad, December 10: six day winter session of Andhra Pradesh legislative Assembly’s will be held from December 10 to 16. The Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly that met a day before the Winter Session decided to cancel the Question Hour on the first day and take up the discussion on farmers’ miseries. All parties have agreed to take farmers’ issues on a priority basis for discussion.
Rejecting the demand from opposition parties to call a 15-day session, it was extended for just one day.
Deputy speaker Mr. N Manohar called on Business Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday to set the agenda for assembly winter session beginning from December 10.
Evening session will be convened on December 14 in which government will pass the bills including ordinance related to micro finance institutions besides other ordinances.
Government whip Mr. Vikramar appealed to the opposition parties to stay away from political agenda and discuss on public issues in the assembly and present constructive proposals to the government to resolve the issues.
