Six crude bombs were found from a house in Sattari taluka on Thursday during a raid by forest department officials probing a poaching case, police said.
The bombs were found when the officials probing the case of poaching of a wild boar in the forests of Sattari, a remote taluka in the state, raided the house of one Adman Fernandes.
Police have also recovered two live 12 bore cartridges from the house, stated a release issued by police.
Fernandes has gone missing.
A case under various sections of Explosive Substances Act and Arms Act was registered by Valpoi police in this regard.
