Hyderabad: Six suspects in the murder of Esa, a rowdy sheeter of Falaknumapolice station Jahanuma, were arrested today at Madannapet and Golconda.
They were identified as Ghulam Naveed Khan, 25, Ghulam Javeed Khan, 30, Ghulam Hyder Khan (absconding), Lateef, 48, of Chandrayanagutta, Ghulam Sajeed Khan, 28, Ghulam Wajeed Khan, 32, and Syed Azizuddin, 32, of Golconda.
According to complainant Syed Abubaker, 31, brother of deceased Syed Esa, the victim went out of his house at 10 pm on March 1 to buy chocolates for children. After about 20 minutes, locals told him that his brother Esa was fatally attacked by someone at Mamu-Ka-Hotel near Bibi-ka-Chashma.
Immediately, he rushed to the spot and found Esa lying on the road in a pool of blood with multiple stab injuries over his chest, neck and other parts of the body. He shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital where doctors declared Esa was brought dead. Later the complainant came to know that accused Naveed Khan, Javeed Khan, Hyder Khan, Wajid Khan, Sajid Khan, Lateef (their maternal uncle) and Aziz (their brother-in-law) hatched a plan to physically eliminate Esa and called the deceased to Mamu-Ka-Hotel and picked up a quarrel saying that he (Esa) stop his illegal intimacy with Raziya, wife of Waheed Khan.
During heated argument, enraged Naveed Khan whipped out a knife and stabbed Esa indiscriminately on chest, neck and stomach resulting in instant death.
The police registered a murder case and seized three bikes, a knife made in Colombia and two cell phones.
Police gathered information that the deceased Esa, a rowdy sheeter, was maintaining illegal intimacy with Raziya alias Taha Fatima, wife of Waheed Khan, elder brother of Naveed Khan and also threatened Waheed Khan by sending audio messages through Whats aap “Tera biwi ke uper ab mere huq hai tera nahin.” Upon which, the accused bore grudge against Esa and hatched a plan to physically eliminate him and executed their plan.
Three accused were arrested at Madannapet at Wajid’s house and three others at Golkonda at Aziz’s house by SIs L. Narendar and M Ramakrishna and staff of PS Falaknuma. (NSS)
