Hyderabad: Congress Opposition Leader in TS Legislative Council, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir told that the present situation of the country is favourable for Congress. Whenever elections are held, Congress will sweep the polls.
On the news that Revanth Reddy and Prof. Kodandaram are likely to join Congress, Mr. Shabbir said that if it is true, Congress would welcome them.
Mr. Shabbir further told that people are vexed up with BJP and the atmosphere is congenial to Congress.
Referring to the victory of Congress in Gurdaspur Parliamentary bye-election, Municipal election of Nanded and Kerala elections, he said that it has become evident that the downfall of BJP has commenced. He hoped that Congress would perform well in Gujarat and Himachal Elections.
He pointed out that in case of telling lies and violation of promises, Modi and KCR are similar. As the graph of BJP is falling down in the Center, in the same way, TRS is also losing public support in Telangana. Internal conflicts and nepotisms are on the increase in TRS which would benefit Congress.
