Opposition leader Telangana Legislative Council Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir declared the decision to conduct SIT enquiry into fake encounter as shedding crocodile tears. He demanded CBI enquiring into firing of 5 Muslim undertrials. He told that on April 8, AICC General Secretary and Incharge Telangana Congress Affairs Mr. Digvijay Singh had demanded CBI enquiry declaring it fake encounter.
Expressing surprise over the decision of conducting SIT enquiry into the fake encounter of undertrials, he said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao claimed himself to be minority friendly but he announced to conduct SIT enquiry after a silence of 5 days. CM is trying to undervalue the encounter and Congress party strongly condemns this, he said.
