One of the twin blast cases has been transferred to SIT while the other case will be investigated by Cyberabad CCS.
On 21st February, 2 blasts rocked Dilsukhnagar area. Two cases were registered in Cyberabad and Hyderabad in this connection. Since some part of the Dilsukhnagar area comes under the jurisdiction of Malakpet police, a case was registered as crime no 56/2013 under sections 302, 307, 120-B IPC 3 & 5 Explosive Act by Malakpet police. Commissioner police Anurag Sharma issued orders to hand over the case to SIT.
While the case registered at Saroor Nagar police station of Cyberabad with crime no 146/2013 under 324, 326, 307, 302, 124(A), S153 (A), 201 r/w, 120(B) IPC Sec 3 & 5 of explosive act and illegal activities (Prohibition) Act, has been handed over to ACPCCS Mr. Venkateshwarulu. SIT has setup 6 teams to conduct probe.
