Additional Commissioner (Crimes & SIT) Swati Lakra denied allegations levelled by TDP MLA and accused in ‘Cash for Vote’ case A Revanth Reddy that no facilities were being provided to him at SIT office.
“It has been alleged by Revanth Reddy, through his Advocate, that SIT Officials did not provide him food water, drinking water and bed during his stay in SIT Office on 7th and 8th June. There is no truth in it. The ‘SIT’ is a well equipped office with all basic amenities,” the Additional CP said.
Revanth Reddy and the remaining two accused have been provided with Mineral water and hygienic food prepared in ACB Canteen. He have also been given Tea, Snacks, New Cots, New mattress, Bed Sheets, Towels Napkins etc., There is no truth in the allegation levelled by Revanth Reddy against SIT Officials. He is being provided with amenities as per the protocol, the SIT chief said. (INN)
