Telangana Government today taken a decision to give a fillip to Textiles Park at Siricilla in Karimnagar district. During a review meeting attended by IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Industries, minister J Krishna Rao said that the government will release adequate funds for the textile parks. Soon the government will release 15 per cent of subsidy to Powerloom industry and 20 per cent towards implementation of TUFF scheme. In a similar way the meeting decided to extend 50 per cent of electricity subsidy for five more years, which expired in Dec 31, 2009. The Government will take a final call after scrutinizing the details soon they said. He also said that works related to drinking water, roads culverts and drainage will be taken on releasing funds.
