SIO state delegation meets Dy. CM

SIO state delegation which included Br. Mohammad Mujahid and Syed Younus called on deputy chief minister Andhra Pradesh Damodar Raj Narsimha. They explained to him the details regarding condition of government schools of Andhra Pradesh and told that the condition of primary education across the state is very vulnerable. Government schools lack basic facilities due to which a large number of students are heading towards private schools, as a result it is likely that the government will have very little influence on education sector. The situation is precarious particularly in Urdu medium schools. Owing to shortage of staff, lack of infrastructure etc. future of thousands of students is in danger. If number of high schools is not increased during the current year, thousands of students are likely to drop out.

Government has issued notification regarding DSC 2012 which is sheer injustice. Out of 21000 posts only 1600 posts are allotted for Urdu while nearly 6000 teachers are required in Urdu schools.

Dy. CM Damodar Raj Narsimha expressed great interest in the survey and assured that he will immediately get the details from the concerned authorities and talk to chief minister on the subject.
