The 3-day Environmental exhibition, “Think. Act. Save. For all its worth, save the Earth!” organized by the Hyderabad chapter of the Students’ Islamic Organisation of India concluded on 10th December with Prize distribution ceremony. Students who prepared models on environment were awarded. A total of 10,000 delegates visited the exhibition in three days.
While addressing the students, Mohd.Arifuddin Ilyas, City Secretary of SIO Hyderabad said that the exhibition isn’t a one-time activity, instead SIO has observed it as month-long campaign creating awareness among the student community, delivering 500 campus lectures across the city. He further said that SIO intends to take this cause forward. In this regard, SIO has reached out to various NGO’s and intellectuals working on this cause. He appreciated the efforts of the students and their creativity. He urged the students to strive for upholding moral values in Educational system and also stressed on working for a change in the society.
Students from Sultan-ul-Uloom Public School won the first prize, while students from Vision Academy and Springfields School bagged the second and third prizes respectively.
Mohammed Obaid, organizer of the exhibition thanked all the students for their participation.
