Single adults in Britain apparently take just over 60 seconds to examine if someone they have just met on a date is already hitched.
An attentive 74 per cent admitted that they looked for a wedding band when they first met someone, while 66 per cent just asked indirect questions, the Daily Star reported.
On average, a single person takes just 67 seconds to determine if someone is married or not.
Kate Taylor, a relationship expert, said that many of us shy away from asking outright. (ANI)
