When demonetization came into force last year in the month of November, it was one of the most sensitive topics and considered a bold move taken by a government. Not only Indian economists slammed demonetisation, but BJP gained criticism from other countries’ experts.
On the other hand, several memes started doing rounds on social media. Comedians showcased ATM lines as ‘they were reaching to space’, while some mocked frequently changes in the withdrawal limit by the government.
