(Siasat News): After Bangalore and Hyderabad, a gift for Urdu readers from Idara Darush Sharq, First Urdu Daily from India to have an International weekly edition from Middle East. Siasat is successful in fulfilling the promise made long back right from the days of the inception of Deccan, that it’s services would be extended.
After Hyderabad, Bangalore from Karnataka was the city chosen for the simultaneous publication of Siasat. And now the time has come for its publication from Baharain and Qatar so as to fulfill the long-standing demand and requirement of the people from Middle East. In collaboration with the leading publishing house Darush Sharq, the publication of Siasat weekly is taking place.
News Editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan is attending the release function of the first copy of Siasat weekly. On this occasion, Indian consulate in Qatar Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa and the consul of Pakistan for Qatar Sarfaraz A Khanzada had extended their best wishes. The general Manager of Darush Sharq Mr. Abdul Lateef Al Mahmood said that he is pleased to announce that a leading media house like Darush Sharq has taken the responsibility of providing a foreign language paper for the Urdu-speaking community of Qatar. From today onwards, Siasat weekly, would fulfill the reading needs of its Urdu readers with reliable and fresh news.
Darush Sharq is an integrated media family, which had maintained its gracefulness. Arabic daily Al Sharq, English daily The Peninsula and Arabic magazine for women Siyadatul Sharq are published. Apart from this, other foreign language papers such as Malayalam daily Warthamanam, Nepali weekly Rajdhani and a weekly from Sri Lanka Lankadeep are also published.
The aim of Darush Sharq is to extend the professional services of the media. Another aim is to provide standard media reports so as to satisfy its readers. Darush Sharq had always covered the local, regional and international news on a large scale. The very first newspaper from Darush Sharq was published in 1986 in the name of ‘Al Khaleej Al Yaum’. In 1987, this Idara turned into an industry and christened as Idara Darush Sharq. Mr. Sarfaraz A Khanzada, in his speech said that it is really a matter of pride for all of us that Darush Sharq is publishing a newspaper in Urdu and this is how the thirst of Urdu readers would be quenched.
He said that he is hopeful that Siasat weekly would not only present the standard and quality news items in chaste and flawless Urdu but also the literary works done in Urdu language to its readers.
News Editor Mr. Amer Ali Khan, in his speech, said that his grand father late Abid Ali Khan had started a mission of developing Urdu language and the values related to national and international integrity, his mission has met with multiple success now.
