To make the process of education loans easy, in meeting with SC, ST, BC and minority welfare officials here on Saturday, Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari instructed bankers in the state to extend loans to them by simplifying the procedure.
Srihari said, a decision had been taken to increase the annual income limit from the current Rs 60,000 to Rs 2 lakh per annum for availing loans for SC/ST and BCs for starting commercial establishments.
