Hyderabad: Siasat’s campaign for simple wedding has evoked positive response. Several families prefer Nikah in masjid. In a similar instance a Nikah was performed with utmost simplicity on Friday, October 21, at Shahi Masjid, Public Garden. Impressed by the campaign for simple wedding launched by Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan, Siasat employee Maulvi Abdul Muqtadir performed simple wedding of his daughter at Masjid. Generally Nikahs in masajid are followed by a sumptuous reception at Function hall. But in the above mentioned Nikah ceremony, no such thing happened and the rukhsati was also done from the masjid itself.
Nausheen Fatima (M.Com), daughter of Maulvi Mohammed Abdul Muqtadir entered into wedlock with Mohammed Yousuddin Quadri Fareed (MSc.) son of Hakeem Mohammed Habeebuddin Quadri in a simple wedding ceremony held at Shahi Masjid. Head Mufti Jamia Nizamia Hazrat Maulana Mufti Mohammed Azeemuddin delivered Khutba-e-Nikah. The groom gave the Mehr to the bride during the function itself.
Siasat editor, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, news editor Siasat Mr. Amer Ali Khan, religious scholars and a large number of family and friends attended the function.
