Lucknow, January 18: Silver weighing around 50-60 kg was stolen from a temple in Hassanganj area here, police said today.
Unidentified persons stole silver “argha (cover)” which was wrapped around the main “shivling” from famous Mankameshwar temple in Hassanganj area yestreday, they said.
Police suspected the hand of some temple staff in the incident.
