The silence of UNO on the increasing Zionist dominance over Arab countries is deplorable

(Siasat News) Expressing regret and strong reaction on the silence of Security Council and UNO on the dominance of Zionist forces on the Arab countries, a meeting was held at Exhibition grounds, organized by an NGO “REACH” yesterday. The meeting was addressed by former Ambassador of India in Palestine, Mr. Zikrur Rahman, Dr. Mateenuddin Quadri, General Secretary of Tameer-e-Millat, Mr. Zafar Aqeel of Jamat-e-Islami, Mr. Muneeruddin Mujahid, President of Tahreek-e-Qair-e-Ummat.

Prof. Akther-ul Wasay, Director of Zakir Hussain Institute of Islamic Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi addressed the gathering on telephone from New Delhi. Mr. Adil Mohammed, Convener of REACH conducted the meeting.

Continuing his speech, Mr. Abdur Raheem Qureshi, President of Majlis-e-Tameer-e-Millat told that the atrocities of the military rulers of Egypt meted out to the agitating workers of Iqawanul Muslimeen to crush the democratic values has been exposed. He told that evil forces have deposed the democratically elected President of Egypt Dr. Morsi who was making an attempt to implement Islamic values in Egyptian society. He alleged that the silence of oil producing Arab countries is responsible for this situation. In his speech, Mr. Qureshi referred to sentence uttered by the former President of Ittehadul Muslimeen, Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung, who used to say that a nation devoid of righteous thinking meets with destruction. He further told that Islamic teachings have clearly prohibited the Muslims to indulge in making friendship with Zionist forces. Despite this, the Arab countries invite the western forces to interfere in their internal affairs. The blood shed in Egypt and the conspiracies to attack Syria are the plans of hostility against Islam. It is very regrettable that Muslim rulers of Arab countries are silent spectators of the political situations prevailing in the Middle-East.

Mr. Zikirur Rahman told that the assassinations of the innocent agitators at freedom square in Egypt are deplorable. Before the revolution, all the departments of Egypt were under the control of the Army. On account of the monopoly of the military, people of Egypt were being deprived of employment and business. When as a result of efforts of Iqwanul Muslimeen, the revolution was successful and the people of Egypt got united, the military of Egypt seemed to be helpless.

Referring to political situations in Syria, he told that during the time of Hafiz Asad when people were agitating they were slaughtered ruthlessly. So far more than 2 million population has been forced to emigrate to other countries which is the largest emigration of the history of the world.

Addressing on telephone, Swamy Agnivesh told that 80% of population of India has secular mentality and it has full confidence in democratic system. All the secular minded people to get united and to support the democratic forces in Egypt and Syria. He further told that the silence of India would amount to supporting the killings in these countries and eradication of democracy.
