Sikh men in neighboring country setting example for exhibiting communal harmony during Ramadan

New Delhi: The holy month of Ramadan is here and Muslims throughout the world are seen observing fast, offering prayers, seeking forgiveness from their Lord, doing good deeds through the month. A month which is so pious that it reflects in the air, to spread kindness, love, peace, harmony among communities. When at these times difficult times co-existence of different religions and communities seem to be declining in the country, a video from Pakistan has gone viral which has set an example showing a Sikh community distributing refreshments to fasting Muslims.

“This is the true face of my Pakistan” was captioned on the two pictures showing a Sikh man from Peshawar distributing packets of Rooh Hafza, a refreshment, to the fasting Muslims, that went viral on Facebook after it was shared by a user from Pakistan.

Though the identity of the man is not known yet it has surely sent a good message for the world showing different communities can co-exist and live in peace with respect and harmony. The Sikh men wearing turbans are seen distributing alms to the people

A similar example has won hearts of many people when a temple in Kerala the Lekshmi Narasimha Murthy Vishnu Temple in Malappuram, hosted Iftar party for 400 Muslims as well as 100 persons from other communities.

During Ramadan, Muslims are seen devoted observing fast, offering prayers, doing good deeds and charity. They observe fast from dawn to dusk. In India as well many other communities come together with peace organizing Iftar feast for the fasting Muslims.

At difficult times like this kind gesture of this Sikh man from neighboring country is bringing focus on communal harmony in the country, Indian Express reported.
